The original Yamaha DXS Series subwoofers have found their way into clubs, venues and houses of worship around the world since launch. Thanks to an upgraded 1020w Class-D Amplifier and a redesigned band-pass plywood enclosure, the Yamaha DXS15 MKII is capable of delivering an extra 3dB of SPL output and 5Hz lower frequency performance than it’s predecessor.

The DXS15 MKII represents a superb balance between weight and size for superb portability, whilst still retaining the thunderous low end and overall power output that have made the DXS Series a go-to Active PA system for bands and performers for years.

D-XSUB DSP Processing

Selectable Crossover

The Yamaha DXS15MKII features a selectable X-Over between 80/100/120Hz. This allows you to tailor the frequency cut off response of the sub depending on your choice of satellite speaker. Fine tune the perfect sound depending on your venue or music style and match them to your top cabs for unrivalled sonic performance.

Cardioid Cab Design

A new Cardioid waveguide design for the MKII series revolves around an optimised bass management system. The audible effect ensures an SPL reduction on-stage, whilst improving the efficiency and perceived SPL towards your audience.
